Particle Physics Summer School
The Particle Physics Research Centre in partnership with the STEM partnerships team at St Paul's School would like to share with you a fantastic opportunity for year 10 students across the UK.
The course is organised and run in partnership between the Department of Physics and Astronomy and St Paul’s School. It brings to life the complex subject of particle physics through a series of workshops and lectures led by teachers and academic researchers. The course will demonstrate the importance of the field across the sciences, engineering and computer science.
A maximum of two students from any one school will be selected. Application involves both student and teacher to complete short forms which include short 200 word supporting statements. As this course takes place during term time the teacher nomination is essential as approval must be given by the student’s school. We particularly encourage students with a keen interest in STEM and particle physics to apply.
