Profile
I joined Dr. Alex de Mendoza’s lab in September 2022 as a PhD student. Now, as a post-doctoral researcher, my work focuses on understanding the functions and evolution of non-canonical DNA modifications in eukaryotes, particularly 6mA and 4mC. By studying a diverse range of non-model organisms, primarily unicellular eukaryotes, we aim to shed light on the complexity of the eukaryotic epigenetic landscape through a mixture of wet-lab experiments and bioinformatics analyses.
