School Tasking South Regional Final 2026

The Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre took part in the School Tasking South Regional Final 2026, hosted by Addleshaw Goddard. The regional final brought together four teams from primary schools who have been taking part in School Tasking with their host universities, to compete for a spot at the Champions of Champions School Tasking Final in Warwick later this year.

The QMLAC rolled out the School Tasking project for its fourth year during 2025/2026, at three local primary schools within Tower Hamlets. We are one of over 30 Universities across the country getting involved with this initiative, headed up by the Univerisity of Warwick.

School Tasking is an outreach project and StreetLaw initiatve that enables young people to learn about the law in a fun and interactive way in the style of the hit TV show Taskmaster. To find out more about the project see: https://taskmastereducation.com/school-tasking.

The ‘South’ region this year was made up of: Queen Mary University of London, Kings College London, London School of Economics, and the University of Sussex.

Each university in the region selected a school team to bring along to the regional final at Addleshaw Goddard on 1st May 2026. The teams had to complete a number of tasks throughout the day, and points were awarded by a team of Year 6 Taskmaster Judges from Rushmore Primary School (who competed in the competition last year).

We are extremely proud of Team Dragonfruit, who represented Queen Mary on the day, from Manorfield Primary School, and to our student facilitators Anshu and Bushra who worked with them throughout the project.

A huge congratulations to Team Spiningle Spinel (right) from Rushmore Primary School, the school team representing LSE at the competition, who won on the day and are on their way to the Champions of Champions final!

The success of the day would not have been possible without the collaboration of so many.
