Q-Review - Addition of Small Teaching Rooms Pilot

In order to capture a wider number of teaching sessions Q-Review is being expanded into some smaller teaching rooms.

The pilot phase will be available in eight rooms in the Graduate Centre in the next few weeks. The rooms being updated are:

GC 1.02 & GC 1.04

GC 2.02, GC 2.03, & GC 2.05

GC 6.02, GC 6.03 & GC6.04

The configuration differs from the normal installation in that there will be no camera feed.

The output to the projector, whether it's the lectern PC, laptop, or visualiser, will be recorded, along with the audio from the microphone on the lectern. The scheduling of captures will work the same as any other Q-Review-enabled room, and all scheduled lectures or lecture/seminars will be automatically recorded. Should you wish to have a seminar, tutorial, or any other teaching session recorded in one of the rooms listed above, contact qreviewbookings@qmul.ac.uk to request a lecture capture, stating the course code, time, date and location.

Once the  pilot rooms have been evaluated, then the plan is to roll the expansion out to around an additional sixty or more of the smaller teaching spaces across the university.
