This 1-hour session aims to introduce staff to the core features of Assignments and Grading in QMplus. Participants will gain an understanding of how to set up assignments, manage submissions, and mark student work efficiently using QMplus tools.
This 1-hour session aims to introduce staff to the core features of Assignments and Grading in QMplus. Participants will gain an understanding of how to set up assignments, manage submissions, and mark student work efficiently using QMplus tools. The session focuses on building confidence with essential workflows while highlighting best practice for assignment set up, grading, and feedback. 15 minutes will be added to the end of the session for Q&A.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Create and configure an Assignment activity in QMplus, including submission types, deadlines, group submissions and grading method, such as marking guides and rubrics.
- Navigate the QMplus interface to locate assignment and grading tools within a module.
- Manage student submissions effectively, including viewing, downloading, and tracking submissions.
- Provide feedback and grades using online grading, file uploads, and comments.
- Release grades and feedback to students
