Profile
Shalini is the Institute manager for PHURI and brings experience of managing complex research projects and portfolios involving multiple, interdisciplinary and intersectoral stakeholders.
Prior to roles in research management, Shalini completed her PhD in molecular genetics at UCL Institute of Child Health and worked as a postdoctoral researcher investigating the genetics and function of genes involved in regulating angiogenesis and eye development. She has also worked in knowledge exchange, delivering the KEF3 submission for King’s College London, for which she developed the public and community engagement strategic plan for the institution.
At PHURI Shalini leads operations and research management to oversee the rapid growth of the institute.
