Dr. Murungi is a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Director of the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She is a lawyer with extensive experience in research, publication, training, advocacy and programing on children's rights. She has a particular interest in work focusing on particularly vulnerable groups of children, such as girls and children with disabilities.
