Profile
Nick is a moral and political philosopher based in Hamilton, New Zealand. He works primarily on democracy and enfranchisement - particularly the enfranchisement of the young, as they are the largest remaining disenfranchised group within democratic states. He argues for the end of age-based restrictions on voting rights, and for the recognition of the capacity of children in a variety of domains. His other interests include virtual worlds and the ethics of technology.
