Ruth Lamont joined the University of Manchester in 2014 having held lectureships at the University of Liverpool and the University of Sheffield. She is a specialist in child law with an international dimension in both a current and historical context. She has worked extensively on the law relating to child abduction and child protection with a cross-national dimension.
