I have been writing and teaching family law for 43 years in New Zealand. I am an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand for my research in family law, which has a strong focus on the impact of family law on children. I am an elected Associate Fellow of International Academy of Family Lawyers and co-ordinator of the academic programme for the Academy.
